A wise man knows that we are all stupid and lazy, a wiser man spends their life trying to over come it and does not accept it as a limitation. Bite that.

If I don't add you back, tell me so that I can fix it!

All sorts of win here. Level of detail on the textures is insane, this had to have taken forever.
:iconbozgol:
Thank you, Andrea. Exactly as your "Matty birthday pin up ", I did this painting for a friend.
:iconbozgol:
Usually, I don't bring so much detail to my paintings 'cause I prefer a more comics-like finish. But as I said to Andrea in my previous reply, this secretary is a command for a friend of mine, who is a fan of Hubert de Lartigue hyperrealistic paintings ([link]). But I m conscious I m so so far from his style and talent !!!!...
Anyway, Thank you Philipp
(Question : Is it your challenge to paint pin ups with a mouse instead of tablet or.. ?)
:iconphilipp1157:
I haven't tried tablet because I just started drawing a couple weeks ago (digitally). But I agree, it is time for me to make the switch. And I'm pretty sure you can produce paintings of similar quality to Lartigue, you would probably just take two or three times as long to do it. Sure, talent is an essential component, but the bulk of these types of painting are sheer force of will and dedication.
:iconmaggy-p:
nice work :D

good luck =)
:iconbozgol:
I totally agree with you concerning "sheer force of will and dedication." . But here, I think that talent (not only) consists in executing a task in few minutes when other "average" artists take hours -days??- to obtain the same result. Technically speaking the appropriate "pipeline" is essential, and the more interesting, the pleasure -for me- in the present "exercice de style" (in french!!) is to catch this pipeline.
